Third year Master of Fine Arts graduate student Emily Reider of Raleigh, NC., has a respect and admiration for her program due to the faculties great efforts in working with the students enrolled in it. “They are diligent about racking each individual and their progress,” Reider said. She feels NIU has one of the best programs in country and one of the reasons behind this is that they have a dedicated faculty. She also has admiration for head of movement for the BFA/MFA in acting, Dr. Heather Corwin. “She balances play with challenging and pushing you,” Reider said. “She bring the work to you with joy but also with challenging you to work your hardest.” Photo by Michelle LaVigne/Creative Services
