Marcia Chatelain, associate professor of history and African American studies at Georgetown University in Washington D.C., joins in the “This is What a Feminist Looks Like” Sticker Day event during her visit to campus for a speaking engagement with the Center for the Study of Women Gender and Sexuality. Chatelin feels that the campaign is an important one because in a time where there is a vilification with anyone asking about power and authority it’s important for feminists to be present. “Feminists provide a counter narrative,” Chatelin said.
