First year graduate student in mathematics Nathanael Kozinski of DeKalb, IL., enjoys a win among his fellow mahjong players during their regular meet-up inside the Holmes Student Center. The foursome are all members of the NIU Mahjong Club and meet every Friday night at 5:00 PM outside of Subway to play the game, and they invite anyone regardless of skill level, to join them. Mahjong president senior in electrical engineering Kevin Dotseth of Palatine, IL., (closest left,) said the rules of the game can scare people off, but that it just takes patience to learn.
