Junior Edgar Fajardo of Elmhurst, majoring in mechanic engineering, laughs as he shows junior Jazmin Bandera of Chicago, majoring in business administration a singed power cord, one the mishaps he came across while working on his "RGM Vision System." Edgar and Bandera were part of the participants presenting their projects at the Summer Research Symposium at Altgeld Hall. Edgar's project finds defects in steel bars that might be used as building materials.
