JaQellah Whitaker of North Chicago and Visual Communications, photography major explains her project to James Gorman of Jerseyville, Chemistry major and Shannon Thomas, of Bridgeview, anthropology graduate student and employee with the office of Student Engagement and Experimental Learning at the Summer Research Symposium at Altgeld Hall. Whitaker's project, "Revisiting HIstory: Carbon Printing in the Digital Photography Age," looked at the correlation between carbon printing and environmental global warming.
