Will Hyde, a senior computer science major from Rockford poses with his trumpet during marching band camp. Hyde plays first trumpet in the band. Hyde said joining band has improved his personal character and through the years he has come form strong bonds with his bandmates. "Some of the best friends I make in college have come from being in band. You travel together, struggle together, and share the same interests," Hyde said. "It's really fun. And I've met some of the best people."
