Senior occupational therapy major Tiana Rodriguez of Berwyn, Ill., stands in front of her fellow Delta Phi Delta members as they perform on campus for the fraternity's Dance for Your Life event. The event uses dance to raise awareness for suicide prevention. Rodriguez said she started going to Delta Phi Delta events like this one and then grew interested in joining the community service based fraternity. "I like to dance and I like to do community service," Rodriguez said. She said joining has helped her improve her leadership skills and with some of her timidness. "I'm a very shy person at first," Rodriguez said. "It helped me get out of my shell."
