The Alpha Phi Alpha fraternity carry out their performance at the NPHC homecoming step show. Stepping is a dance that uses the body to produce rhythms with footsteps, speaking, singing, and hand claps. It is a tradition that is primarily found within the NPHC and started in the 1900's at college parties.
