Sarah Shapley is a freshman from Naperville, Illinois. Currently, she is majoring in geology. Her poster is entitled "Identification of gas concentrations in a bioreactor landfill." Sarah was interested in this research topic because she wanted to explore different aspects of geology. She is passionate about improving the surrounding environment. Sarah's favorite part of her research was being emerged in the research community and investigating her research question.
