Hannah Hacker is a senior from Leland, Illinois. Currently, she is majoring in biological sciences. Her poster is entitled "Growth of mammalian tissue- and tumor-derived cell lines in media supplemented with different animal serum sources; making cancer research affordable." Hannah was interested in this research topic because she wants to help the cancer research community by finding an alternative serum that could lower research costs. Hannah's favorite part of her research was getting experience working in a cancer research lab. She states that the possibility of benefiting the cancer research cause is very rewarding.
