Senior geography major Lisa Matson of Grayslake, IL, and sophomore computer science major Robert Kondratowicz of Mokena, IL, are illuminated by the results of their research project, the “Augmented Reality Sandbox” an interactive map that helps teach how topographical maps work. Matson said that one of the most rewarding aspects of their project had been seeing how excited people are to see how it works. “And it has overall enhanced my experience in understanding research,” Matson said.
