FINAL: Graduate student geology and environmental science major Lisa Matson of Lake Villa, IL, will be finishing up her field study this summer, a common activity for those who are in the geology graduate program. Her schedule will consist of work on campus from 8 a.m. until 8 p.m. for most of the summer and then she will return to Lake Villa after graduation to seek out employment. She will be missing the geology building and the professors she’s worked with whom she describes as supportive, fun and intelligent about the subjects they teach.
