FINAL: Incoming senior business major Rubi Nevarez of Schiller Park, IL, said that she’s having to adjust to classes being over and not doing anything. “I’m so used to always doing something,” Nevarez said. Nevarez feels working helps with the transition of moving from home to campus life. “It provides opportunities to branch out and network, and I appreciate the campus as far as employment opportunities (for students) as well.” Nevarez works in the financial office and wishes more students would take advantage of the amount of resources available to them. “Even when you feel like you can’t move forward because of money, come use the resources that are provided,” Nevarez said, referring to the financial aid office. “We are here to help.”
