FINAL: First-year geology graduate student Marlena Rock of Shermans Dale, PA, said that a lot of the geology research happens during the summer. “I like that it happens in the summer because it keeps me engaged the whole time I’m here,” Rock said. Plus there’s less pressure. “You can do your work at your own pace and all the students are here, so you can ask them for help.”
