FINAL: Senior psychology major Adonis Totten of Chicago, IL, is taking one class for the first time during the summer semester. He said having his calculus class condensed in eight weeks is going to be tough but he is getting the class done so that he can graduate in December. With the lack of students on campus, Totten has taken notice of the campus landscape more. “You get to see the trees and nature because there are less students,” Totten said. “It’s a vibrant campus during the summer.” Totten is also working as CHANCE orientation leader. He remembers how he felt intimidated when he was an incoming freshman, so he feels now he’s able to be a resource and asset to students coming in that have questions that they may feel nervous asking their professors.
