FINAL: Junior technology major Malik Hughes of Chicago, IL, plans to use the LinkedIn photo he had taken at the Internship Career Fair for Facebook and his LinkedIn page. He uses LinkedIn to network with NIU alum, research companies that interest him and keep up-to-date with what is going on inside of those companies. Hughes has the benefit of working with Career Services and it has provided him with good connections with employers, including putting him in contact with Chrysler, where he had his internship last summer. He feels NIU has helped him gain real world experience in his field.
