FINAL: Closest left to right, junior nutrition, dietics and wellness major Autumn Martin of Tyrone, GA, senior computer science major Grace Taiwo of Chicago, IL, senior philosophy major David Lorenzo of Batavia, IL, senior liberal arts major Lisa Anderson of DeKalb, IL, and senior nutrition, dietetics and wellness major Kristen Dawidiuk of Schaumburg, IL, fill bags of food while participating with the Philosophy of Food class "Feed My Starving Children" packing event. This is the first time the service-learning class has been offered and it looks at the topics of ethical issues pertaining to food such as global hunger, ethical production and sustainability with the hands-on approach.
